OSA Performance & Injury Prevention Testing Session

A Closer Look At Performance

Movement Screening & Testing Session

Improvements in skating mechanics, jump height, and power aren’t just made on the ice. As with any sport, athletes need to have a base level of stability and strength to perform at their best. The AFS approach will afford athletes and their parents a closer look at the way the skater moves, any imbalances in strength or flexibility, and ultimately give insights on how to prevent injury and optimize performance.

  • Recorded movement analysis for injury prevention
  • Performance test tailored to the unique needs of a skating athlete
  • Review session with strength coach to discuss results & next steps
  • Prescribed exercises to overcome imbalances found in testing
