1) How did you hear about AFS?

I had been working out for a while on my own and wasn’t getting any results, so I was looking online for a personal trainer. I stumbled across the AFS website and I thought it looked interesting, so I took a tour.

2) What/Who inspired you to take the first step toward getting in shape?

I changed jobs a couple of years ago to something a little more sedentary and I saw my weight go way up.  I didn’t look good and I felt even worse, so I decided that I needed a change.

3) What initially intrigued you about our program/why did you sign up?

I think what I really liked was that there was someone who was there to help you through and keep you accountable.  I knew that someone was going to be looking at my food logs and checking in on me, so it made me want to push harder and stay on track.

4) How did you achieve the success you’ve seen thus far?

Being consistent with my food logs and really pushing myself when I come for classes and when I’m working out on my own has really helped me. It makes me feel like I’m ready to take on the day when I get my blood pumping in the morning from a great workout. Plus, when I see my numbers going in the right direction and people notice that I look different, it makes the food logging worth the effort.

5) What changes have you noticed in your life since starting with AFS?

I feel SO MUCH BETTER! I’m not nearly as tired and sluggish as I was before. I am so much more confident and am not nearly as self-conscious trying on new clothes or finally fitting into old ones. 🙂

6) Advice you can offer others looking to make changes you’ve made?

It takes time to adjust to a new lifestyle, but the extra time and effort is definitely worth it! Give yourself time to adjust. Don’t let yourself fall into the trap of having a bad day and giving up. Start fresh the next day and remember why you wanted to make the change in the first place. Also, don’t be afraid to let your practitioner help you make adjustments that work for you. They are AMAZING at listening to you and giving you great advice on how to make adjustments to the program for your life. Ask for help or talk to them when something isn’t quite feeling right. They are the best!!

Kyle, so glad we were able to help you fit into old clothes! Love the positivity you bring to AFS 🙂
