How Did You Find Applied Fitness Solutions?

I wanted to find a personal trainer, but didn’t know where to start. So I reached out on social media. I got a few different responses, but multiple people referred me to Cassie. Shortly after, Cassie messaged me about coming in to check out AFS, and the rest is history.

Why Did You Decide to Take Action?

I wasn’t happy with what I saw in the mirror. I didn’t feel confident in who I was. For a while I brushed it off, trying not to care what I looked like. But when my friends started joking saying I had a “dad-bod” it sparked something in me and I knew I had to do something about it.

Most Rewarding Part of This Process?

The most rewarding part was seeing what I am capable of. Seeing how  much stronger I’ve become, and realizing that I had what it takes to get there. Yes, I lost weight and my clothes fit better, but just knowing that I could do what I once thought was impossible was so much more rewarding.

What Was Your Most Surprising Part of This Process?

I’m surprised at how far I’ve come. There were times that I just wanted to give up and quit, but a little persistence goes a long way. The support that everyone gave me was overwhelming. If it weren’t for Cassie and the whole AFS team, I never would have made it this far.

Any Advice You Can Give to Others Looking to Make Changes Like You Have?

Know what you want. Picture it in your head, and know what it’ll take to get there. It helps to have a clear goal in mind, no matter how big or small. Once you know what you want to achieve, go for it. You never know what you’re capable of achieving until you try.
