Ann Arbor Running Company and Applied Fitness Solutions invite all runners, cyclists, and triathletes to join us for a workshop on injury prevention/management, speed and power improvement, and nutrient timing. Athletes can expect to walk away with an action plan on addressing nagging injuries, an actionable off-season strength training progression, and plenty of knowledge on the science of performance improvement. This event is for all experience levels.

Dr. Burr offers therapies to jump-start progress and; ultimately, provides the strategies that empower his clients to take responsibility for recovery of function, which gets them on their way to pain-free living. Furthermore, RJ coaches his patients how to not only recover, but perform better at their sport or activity than they did before. His knowledge of the anatomy of overuse injury and body mechanics give him a unique perspective as a rehab specialist.

Michael Stack is founder and CEO of Applied Fitness Solutions. In addition to his duties with AFS, Michael is formerly the educational events director for StrengthPro, Inc., and is a former co-chair of the Arnold Strength Training Summit. Mike has lectured to, and worked with a diverse population with respect to all aspects of health, fitness, and human performance including marathon, triathlon, and ironman prep coaching.
