Meet Sheryl Carvill!
She started last month!

What motivates you to come to class?

I know that if I put the effort in, I will see and feel results.  It’s also empowering to accomplish something that I didn’t think I could do or to have something that was difficult become easier.

What excites you most about starting your journey with AFS?
When I joined AFS, I made the decision to focus time on myself.  It is exciting to be able to do that!  At AFS, the attitude among Staff and the other clients is so positive and encouraging.  People support you where you are at in fitness level and ability.  Attending class is something I want to do, not have to do.

When not at work or AFS, what do you like to do in your free time?
I like to work crossword puzzles.  I’m trying to like running again too 😉
If you could make one food become 0 calories, what would it be?

Brownies!

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

I’d love to be able to fly.  Since I can’t be two places at once, at least I’d be able to travel faster (and avoid construction).

She also started last month!

What motivates you to come to class?
What motivates me to come to class every week is the support and encouragement from all the staff and also my fellow clients. AFS’s group workout setting is really fun. The AFS instructors and staff are always happy and willing to help during my workouts either to modify exercises to my limitations or help me with form so I don’t hurt myself.

What excites you most about starting your journey with AFS?
I am excited that I look forward to exercising now (I never would have thought. 😉 ) because even after these few short weeks I can see a difference in my body shape and strength.

When not at work or AFS, what do you like to do in your free time?
I love flower gardening to attract hummingbirds, reading paranormal/sci fi/mystery books, beading with lampwork glass beads, walking my dogs, and being out and about with friends.

If you could make one food become 0 calories, what would it be?
Chocolate, no question.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

I would want to fly, even though I am afraid of heights!

Both of you are such a joy to have around! We love seeing you both kill it in class 🙂
