It has been our pleasure getting the chance to work with so many wonderful people. The work ethic we have witnessed is truly amazing and you have all continued to inspire us as individuals as well as motivating us to grow as professionals. That is a valuable gift. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I would also like to personally recognize and thank the AFS team. I love each of them as if they were part of my family. AFS would not be where it is today without all of their hard work, dedication and willingness to sacrifice time and energy to better serve those around them. I’ve said it before and I will say it again, I feel like the luckiest guy in the world to be part of such a wonderful team. I wish all of you could see the cohesiveness they demonstrate behind the scenes every day. It is a testament to their maturity, knowledge and willingness to trust in one other. It is a beautiful thing and I am honored to have the opportunity to watch them grow and develop as young adults. Thank you to everyone on our team, I love you guys! Keep on changing the world one person at a time!

I wish all of you nothing but the best in 2016! Celebrate the opportunities, embrace the challenges and always continue to grow. Life is what you make it!

Winter Weather Advisory: Bring Dry Gym Shoes

Don’t skip a beat, just dry your feet!

My team and I would like to respectfully ask that everyone (including us!) do their part in keeping those around you in class safe this winter season. Please plan ahead and bring dry, clean, gym shoes for each workout.

Walking through the snow, salt, and ice in your gym shoes may not be detrimental to your health, but it can easily become a hazard to those around you in class. Slippery, wet, puddles of melted snow are very dangerous for anyone in a group exercise setting and we don’t want 2016 to begin with an injury (especially one which can easily be prevented)! Thank you in advance for respecting the safety of your fellow exercisers.

4:45PM Class Coming in FEB!

I know there are many of you who are patiently anticipating the return of our 4:45pm WLS class. First, we want to thank you for your patience. Your understanding has meant so much to us and I do personally apologize for the inconvenience. From an outside perspective I know it seems like we have the staffing resources to open additional class times. Unfortunately, in order to keep a manageable and healthy schedule for the AFS team, I have been forced to postpone the 4:45pm WLS class until an additional full time Fitness Practitioner has been trained, but don’t worry! We already hired him!

Welcome Austin!

Austin Doggette, our latest addition to the AFS Team, is currently undergoing practitioner training at our Ann Arbor facility. He is excited to meet all of you and will begin teaching WLS part time (Sundays only to start) in Plymouth on 1/17 with his full time transition scheduled for Mid-February. Adding Austin to the team will give us the resources needed to reinstate a few 4:45pm WLS classes during the week. Please keep a close eye on my emails; I will be updating the 4:45pm schedule as soon as he is ready to go!

Thank you again for the patience and please introduce yourself to Austin if you see him on Sunday! He’s a great addition to our team.

If you have any further questions regarding the 4:45pm class schedule please do not hesitate to contact me directly: devin@appliedfitnstg.wpenginepowered.com
