Almost a year ago, Bob walked through our doors carrying more than just extra weight—he carried the weight of knowing something had to change. His health, his energy, his life—it all depended on it. But Bob didn’t come in defeated. He came in determined.

There are two things Bob loves more than anything in this world: his bride, Deanna, and his sky-blue 1966 Mercury Montclair. The car’s a classic—bold, reliable, and full of character. In many ways, so is Bob.

At first, the road ahead seemed steep. Simply moving more felt hard, and the idea of change felt like a chore. But something shifted. With the steady encouragement of his health coach, Chris, and the strength that only comes from showing up consistently, Bob’s mindset turned a corner. He stopped seeing workouts as something he had to do and started seeing them as something he got to do.

Bob set a goal early on: to be able to get in and out of his Mercury again. Not just for the sake of mobility, but because that car held memories. Joy rides. 8 track tape player tunes. Open windows and open roads. It represented freedom—and he wanted it back.

Yesterday afternoon, Bob pulled into the lot in that very Mercury. He’s down over 50 pounds. His strength and endurance have improved. But the real victory? The grin on his face as he stepped out of the car and leaned against it like an old friend.

With the windows down and the music up, Bob’s not just riding—he’s reclaiming those zestful moments that make life rich and meaningful. He’s not chasing youth; he’s living vibrantly in the now.

To Bob, we salute your grit, your heart, and your journey. You didn’t just change your health—you changed your life. And the best part? You’re just getting started.
