Dear Friends,
First, thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I know you all lead very busy lives and I appreciate your time very much.
I’m sure by now, most of you have heard the buzz about our expansion to our second fitness facility in plymouth, MI expected to open in January, 2015. The time has come for me to explain in greater detail what will be taking place in the next 4-6 weeks.
As Mike mentioned in his email yesterday, we’ve secured a site for our second location in Plymouth Township. The new facility is located at 40700 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170 (between I-275 and Haggerty Rd). I am very happy and honored to have the opportunity to partner with Mike in this new venture as a co-owner of an Applied Fitness Solutions facility. Although my role in Ann Arbor has begun to change, you ‘re not getting rid of me just yet. Our projected “Grand Opening” is set for early January, but since much of the construction is out of our control, I am unable to give an exact date at this time. We will keep everyone informed as the project develops.
Client Transitions
Throughout the next 4-6 weeks I will be transitioning my clients to other Practitioners on staff. I am overwhelmingly confident that our staff will surpass your expectations moving forward. That said, make no mistake, I am still 100% invested in the service and success of my current AFS clients. You should absolutely continue to utilize me as a resource without hesitation until this transition is made. During this transition, I will help coordinate schedules in order to facilitate initial meetings with your new Practitioner as soon as possible. Though this will undoubtedly be very difficult for me, it is a necessary step in order for this transition to happen smoothly. I would be MORE than happy to sit down and speak with any of you individually to address questions or concerns throughout this process.

As many of you know, since 2010, AFS (Ann Arbor) has been a home away from home for me. I could not be happier with the experiences I’ve had, the people I’ve met, the programs and products we’ve put in place, and everything that is to come in the near future. As AFS clients you’ve ALL made an impact on my life whether you realize it or not and I feel truly blessed. AFS has given me the opportunity to work within a fitness organization that measures its success solely on the success of its clients; not on revenues, attendance, fancy equipment, or widespread brand recognition (if you’ve ever worked in the fitness industry, you know what I’m talking about!) Our first priority has been, and always will be, the client. That is a system I can believe in.
To our current staff, thank you for your commitment to providing the highest quality service to our clients. I truly appreciate your hard work and dedication to our vision. I’m proud of everything you’ve accomplished and I’m grateful to be working by your side.
To our clients, thank you again for your support and understanding in this matter. In 2010, I could have never imagined the number of lasting friendships that were to come from this journey. This is something I will never take for granted and I hope my interactions with you have been as positive as the impact you’ve had on me. All of this has been made possible by YOUR commitment and dedication to a healthier lifestyle. I can assure you that hard work does not go unnoticed!
