Name: Debbi Weiss

Start Date: 7/8/2014

Assessment Date: 5/4/2015

Fitness Practitioner: Carli Taylor

Assessment Results: Lost 13 lbs of fat mass, down 9% body fat, and gained 4 lbs of lean mass

*11 weeks on a successful calorie progression

1.)  How did you hear about AFS?

A friend who currently works out at AFS.

2.)  What inspired you to take the first step toward getting in shape?

I’ve tried other programs and the results weren’t consistent so I needed help in a different way.

3.)  What initially intrigued you about our program?

I had difficulty seeing the results I wanted while working out on my own. I needed someone to guide me and tell me what I needed to do in order to get in better shape and increase my level of fitness.

4.)  How did you achieve the success you’ve seen thus far?

I have worked VERY closely with my practitioner, Carli. I followed her written workouts to perform outside as well as inside AFS. Carli and Mike have actually INCREASED my intake of calories without me gaining body fat through a calorie progression! Carli has been there to answer any question, share my accomplishments, and show me my progress when I felt discouraged. What I have found since I joined AFS is that I am ALWAYS moving forward.

5.) What changes have you noticed in your life since starting with AFS?

Since I’ve increased my protein level, my lean mass for one has increased, which has massively reduced my tiredness. Also, my eating habits are healthier. My understanding of proper exercise form has significantly increased my confidence to perform exercises without injuring myself.  I am SO much happier about my body than I have ever been before.

6.)  Advice you can offer others looking to make changes like you’ve made?

Work with your practitioner! They CAN direct you skillfully in the direction you need to go. Go at your own pace and income level, so you don’t get discouraged. Also, when you get discouraged, talk to your practitioner. Chances are that you are not as far behind your goals as you think you are; you are always making accomplishments!

Congrats Debbi! Keep up the hard work!
