A Different kind of “get together”

Time with friends: whether it’s in the locker room before the men’s league game, out on the town, or a quiet night in…This important time to decompress is always much needed to break us out of our “just get through the week” mentality. Todd and Nate have been taking yoga together for the past month and they’ve been seeing the benefits, so naturally they wanted to find a way to share the experience with the boys! And their significant others of course 🙂 We hope you’ll take this opportunity to re-connect with your body (remember you can bend in ways maybe you haven’t in awhile), and connect with your fellow fourth liners 😉

Private Yoga Experience with Eileen

Gather the squad!  As Eileen always says: All you have to be able to do is breathe 🙂 Nate and Eileen are tailoring a yoga experience fit for your hockey hips! No experience in yoga is necessary and the pace of the class will be slow and guided. For those who have some yoga experience, this workout will be most comparable to a restorative yin class. What the hell does that mean? It means the 30 seconds of stretching you do at the beginning of warm ups for your Wednesday night game aren’t quite enough now that you’re not 18 anymore 😉 This will be one hour of guided stretching, postures, and breathing. You’ll leave feeling lighter and taking FULL belly breaths. It feels really good.
