What motivated you to start at AFS?

My inability to keep up with my kids .. was always tired after work and couldn’t play soccer with my little one who looks forward to it every day. Needless to say it was very depressing. I have tried different gyms but lacked motivation. AFS was an accidental find during a walk around the block, I went in to find out what was different about this place and I liked what I heard so I decided to give it a try.

What keeps you coming back to AFS?

RESULTS…  and the group motivation of course. You guys are amazing and I’ve never felt intimidated even for a minute. I remember Eileen noticing that I was always skipping the stretches at the end. One day she talked me into doing simple stretches and helped me build the confidence I felt I needed. Also, all the folks who come in are very cheerful and encouraging which makes me crave more workouts. Additionally, the workouts challenge each persons ability level rather than a one size fits all.

What has been the most rewarding part of your experience?

Satisfying to see the fat melt away 🙂 and being able to fit into the clothes that I never thought I would wear again . More than that , Joy to play with my kids and able to run again. The fact that I could run 10 miles last weekend without taking a break was an amazing feeling.

What advice would you give to others looking to start at AFS?

I was skeptical and have tried different fitness centers around me, but trust me it works. What made the difference for me is the group structure that gives me the motivation to come and workout at least 3 or 4 times a week and having instructors who truly care. Nothing to lose but your fat … Wishing you a very long success, AFS team .. Keep rocking and Thank you!
