Mom Made Me

To the main force who’s helped shape me into the man I’ve become today. I love you so much, thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do for me. Happy mother’s day!

My Mom has taught me so much about being balanced in all aspects of my life. Work and play, dessert and veggies, exercise and relaxing, family and friends; you name it! Even still when I am struggling to find a balance, she knows just what to say to steady me.

My mom taught me how to give professional hugs and to choose kindness over everything in all situations. My mom has given me love and support always, but also the honest advice I need. She has taught me to be independent and proud of who I am – to pull my shoulders back, keep my head up and smile big. My mom is my sunshine. She is the light that is needed in order to grow. By what she does every day, I am reminded that we can do hard things. No matter where life takes us there is nothing that will ever come between the bond we have created.  *insert tears* ❤

Mommy,Thank you for making me smile everyday. I am sorry I still wake you up 2-3 times a night, I just love you so much that I can’t sleep too long without seeing you! I look forward to one day being just like you. Smart, funny, strong, kind, caring, gentle, and of course beautiful! I already have a jump start in the beauty category, thanks to you 🙂

Happy Mommy’s Day!

Mom,Thank you for teaching me to dance like no one is watching. Thank you for teaching me to do the right thing even when no one is around to see it. Thank you for teaching me to lead by example and stand up for those who can’t stand up for themselves. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without your Guidance and Love. The man that is typing this is tearing up; that’s the heart you created. I love you Mom!

Ahh… the impossible task of using words to explain how much love, gratitude, and respect you have for your mom…
She is an amazing mom, but also an amazing human, wife, sister, and daughter. She raised me (and my sisters) with love, respect, empathy, and kindness…but also treats everyone else with those same qualities. She never told me anything that I didn’t already know through observing her actions and interactions. I am forever grateful to her as my mom.

Mom, Nothing is stronger than your will. Except maybe your love…Well, then there’s those cooking skills. And that graceful way you make hard things look easy. Or the way you embrace others no matter how different they are from you. Thank you for the lessons, the long road trips, and the legendary mispronunciations that make me laugh every time. I’ll always be a momma’s boy 🙂

More than anything my mom has taught me the value of perseverance and determination. Life can be hard and discouraging at times, and she showed me that no matter how hard things get you just have to keep moving forward, one step at a time. She must know what she’s talking about, she’s put up with me for this long! Happy Mother’s Day to an incredible lady, I love you Mom!
