Registered Dietitian | Food Critic | Health Advocate | Adventurer

We’re so excited to welcome Alea Carlson to our care team! With a unique blend of clinical experience and health-forward nutrition, she brings a fresh, compassionate approach to helping you feel stronger, healthier, and more confident.

Alea is a Registered Dietitian with over nine years of experience in healthcare and nutrition. She began her career at McLaren Flint Hospital, where she spent three years working with patients across a variety of medical conditions – helping them recover, adapt, and thrive. From there, she joined Fresenius Kidney Care and spent six years specializing in kidney disease nutrition. During that time, she supported countless individuals navigating the complex dietary demands of kidney health.

These years in clinical settings sharpened her skills in translating medical nutrition needs into actionable, real-world strategies – and built a deep respect for listening, problem-solving, and meeting people where they are.
