Emma is a fitness instructor who is currently finishing up her senior year at the University of Michigan. She will graduate in the spring of 2018 with a BS in Movement Science from the School of Kinesiology. During her time at Michigan, she has enjoyed being a part of the leadership for the Pre-Physical Therapy Club, worked as a peer mentor and being a member of the Kinesiology Professional Fraternity. She hopes to spend the year after graduation figuring out a graduate program in the field of Public Health.

Emma was turned on to AFS after hearing Mike speak about internship opportunities on campus during her junior year. She was excited about the inclusive community and the chance to help others with their fitness journey. Over her time here, she has fallen in love with the atmosphere and the time spent getting to know all the great clients. As someone who as always loved being active, she hopes that she can get others to enjoy it too! Emma hopes to continue her time in the fitness industry over the next few years and learn more about helping others make healthy choices.

When she’s not at AFS, Emma can be found staying active in any way she can, reading, or enjoying nature. When she has time, Emma loves to cook and bake, especially when she can share the food with others 🙂
