Corinne is the Administrative Manager at AFS Ann Arbor. She graduated from the University of Michigan in Spring 2017 with her degree and teaching certificate in Secondary English and Psychology Education.
Throughout her time at Michigan, Corinne has been involved in writing and poetry reading groups. She’s performed four poems and been published by the university six times. Corinne also student-taught at Saline High School for a year in 2015-16 and hopes to become a full-time teacher there some day!
Corinne found her way to AFS in 2014 when her roommate in college started an internship here and couldn’t stop talking about how great the AFS family was. Even though she isn’t going into the fitness industry, Corinne was drawn to the sincerity and genuine atmosphere she found here and wanted to become a part of it. Since then, Corinne has fallen more in love with the clients, the staff, and the work AFS is doing each and every day. Her favorite part of the job is making relationships and getting to know people on a personal level. The AFS community is very near and dear to her heart!
When she’s not at AFS, she’s at home playing with her puppy, reading books for teaching, or learning new makeup techniques! (And, okay, sometimes just laying on the couch with a snack and Netflix).
