As a client in the strength solution class, you’ll be given a custom program specifically tailored to your goals. A certified AFS coach will work their way around the room individually cueing your form and educating you on what you’re working on and why. The small group nature of the class will provide you the guidance and encouragement you need without the high cost of one-on-one personal training.

Why this Strength Solution Program is Different

Your own personal fitness coach is included! At AFS, we don’t think you should have to do this alone, that’s why we match you up with a coach that guides you and supports you every step of the way.

Below are brief explanations of the components of your relationship with your AFS fitness coach:

Personal Trainer Assignment: Each AFS client is assigned to his or her own coach (degreed and certified personal trainer). Based on your goals, personality, and needs, we’ll match you with the coach we think you’ll mesh best with.

Accountability: Life can get in the way of everyone’s exercise program from time-to-time, and your coach is there to help you through those rough times with motivating messages when you miss workouts, encouraging emails when you’re struggling nutritionally, and reassurance when it seems like your goals are insurmountable.

Body Composition Analysis: We do in-person check-ins every 6 weeks to make sure things are on track. We’ll take measurements, go over game tape, and set you up for success on the next 6 weeks of your journey. Plans will be made, high fives will be given.

Nutrition: No cookie cutter diet plans. Your coach is going to learn your lifestyle and habits. Once we understand what you need to work on, you’ll be given weekly behavioral goals designed around implementing healthier habits. Once you solidify a new healthy habit, you get a new goal! We do it slowly, we do it sustainably, and you’ll never have to do a diet again.

Workout-Recovery Log Review: You’ll be able to keep your coach constantly updated on your sleep, soreness, stress, and motivation levels. This ensures we can make any tweaks to your program on the fly so we can keep you running on all cylinders.

Supplemental Exercise Prescription: Your coach will prescribe “homework” for you based on your unique goals and lifestyle. From corrective exercises performed to prevent injury, to hotel room workouts for when you travel, we’ll spell out in precise detail the workouts you’re doing outside of our gym.

Your relationship with your coach is the single-most critical aspect of your program at AFS. Your coach will provide the individualization, support, motivation, and accountability you need to reach your goals. If you fail, we fail.

On-Site Childcare

The Applied Fitness Solutions Childcare membership is an excellent option for busy parents who are remaining committed to their exercise goals, while also balancing the obligations of family life. Qualified staff supervises the childcare room with extensive experience in child supervision, and who are CPR certified. Childcare staff must pass background checks and drug screening tests upon employment to further ensure the safety of your children while you work out.

Childcare activities include coloring and drawing, games and puzzles, DVDs, and of course, lots of toys!

Childcare is available for children who cannot be left alone without parents. Childcare staff does not do any diaper changing or feeding.
