After a moment like this, everything can change for an athlete; which is precisely why our entire focus is on what happens BEFORE. It’s our job to prepare our athletes to make sure they shine when it counts. How do we do it? We put every aspect of an athlete’s fitness under the microscope and dissect their imbalances, their weaknesses, and gaps in performance. We do it with in-depth individualized testing, tailored programming, and vigorous follow up. The clock is ticking on getting a leg up on the competition, are you in?

The Athlete Solution is our most individualized training program. Here’s what you can expect if you choose to train with us:

  • Start your program off with a proprietary intake testing session custom built for your sport. We’ll test flexibility, mobility, speed, strength, and power. Find out what injuries you’re pre-disposed to and what performance metrics you need to improve.
  • We’ll compile your testing data into a “fitness report card” and go over the results with you and your parents so you know where you stand compared to your competition.
  • Get a tailored program aimed specifically at addressing your weaknesses and pushing you to the next level.
  • Work out in a professionally supervised and 100% guided setting so you get the most out of your program.

Why this Athlete Solution Program is Different

Your own personal fitness coach is included! At AFS, we keep our athletes engaged throughout the entire process, this includes giving them “homework” assignments to make sure they stay on track outside of our walls.

Below are brief explanations of the components of your relationship with your AFS fitness coach:

Personal Trainer Assignment: Each AFS athlete is assigned to his or her own coach (degreed and certified personal trainer). Based on your goals, personality, and needs, we’ll match you with the coach we think you’ll mesh best with.

Accountability: Athletes are busy, so we make sure to keep in touch and hold them accountable to the commitments they make to their training. We’ll be reaching out to make sure nutrition, at home workouts, and prehab training is going well. We’ll be there to provide a kick in the butt when you need it and a pat on the back when you deserve it.

Body Composition Analysis: We do in-person check-ins every 6 weeks to make sure things are on track. We’ll take measurements, go over game tape, and set you up for success on the next 6 weeks of your journey. Plans will be made, high fives will be given, and we’ll keep you going in the right direction.

Nutrition: No cookie cutter diet plans. Your coach will be there to give you precise recommendations on how you can best fuel yourself based on your goals and your body.

Workout-Recovery Log Review: You’ll be able to keep your coach constantly updated on your sleep, soreness, stress, and motivation levels. This ensures we can make any tweaks to your program on the fly so we can keep you running on all cylinders.

Supplemental Exercise Prescription: Your coach will prescribe “homework” for you based on your unique needs. From corrective exercises performed to prevent injury, to specialized stretches. We’ll spell out in precise detail the workouts you’re doing outside of our gym.

Your relationship with your coach is the single-most critical aspect of your program at AFS. Your coach will provide the individualization, support, motivation, and accountability you need to reach your goals. If you fail, we fail.
